1.Though the bile juice of liver has no digestive enzyme but is very essential for proper digestion of food, especially of the fats.Why?

= Bile is a digestive juice secreted by the liver.Although it does not contain any digestive enzymes,it play a vital role in fat digestion.Bile juice has bile salts Sodium glycocholate and Sodium taurocholate which break down large fat globules into smaller globules.This process is known as emulsification of fats.Bile also makes the medium alkaline and activate lipase.

2.What would happen if HCl is not secreted in the stomach?

= Hydrochloric acid is necessary to make the medium acidic which allows inactive enzyme Pepsinogen to be converted into Pepsin.Pepsin plays an important role in the digestion of proteins.

3.Why the infants and old age people facing difficulty after drinking milk or after eating dairy products?

= The reason is lactose intolerance due to the absence of enzyme LACTASE in small intestine and milk digesting enzyme RENNIN(CHYMOSIN) in Stomach.

4.Why the small intestine in herbivores is longer than in carnivore ?

= Herbivores eat grass or green leafy vegetables rich in cellulose need a longer small intestine to allow complete digestion of cellulose.Carnivores animals  easily digest meat ,so they have a shorter intestine.

5.Why human faeces is yellow colour always regardless of age and food ?

= Due to the presence of Bilirubin as a breakdown of Haemoglobin in bile(Green colour is due to Biliverdin).

6.Which kind of Peptic ulcer is common in young age group?

= Duodenal ulcer occurs in people in the age group of 25 -45 years.Gastric ulcer is common in persons above the  age of 50 years.Peptic ulcer also caused by the uncontrolled usage of Aspirin, Ibuprofen etc and caused by the infection of bacterium Helicobacter pylori.
