· Acquifer: Stratum containing groundwater. Water tableis upper layer of groundwater.
· Ecological Equivalents: Different organisms occupying similar niches in different geographical areas.
· Parasitoids:Organisms which live as parasites in larval stage but become free living later on, eg, Trichogramma. Parasitoids are used to control crop pests.
